The Umehiro Japanese Chamfer Plane is a traditional tool designed to create precise 30° or 60° chamfers on wood. Equipped with an Aogami (Blue Steel) blade and a Japanese white oak body, it offers a clean, durable cut perfectly suited for finishing and joinery work.

Its reinforced brass nose improves precision and stability during planing. Like artisanal Japanese planes, it is delivered not ready for use and requires sharpening and adjustment before the first use. Each piece is handcrafted in Japan.
