The Tajima Sumisashi is a traditional Japanese marking tool used to precisely apply sumi ink to wood, metal, or other construction materials. Designed for scribing and woodworking, it allows for fine, clean lines with excellent control.

Its tip is made from a high-grade copper alloy using 44 thin phosphor bronze plates, offering excellent resistance to corrosion and deformation. The tip holds ink well without flaring, and the line width can be adjusted as needed using a sharpening stone. After use, a simple rinse with water is enough to easily clean the tool.
