The Tsukuriganna Suketsuna is a double-bladed Japanese plane designed for truing, adjusting, and preparing wood before finishing work. Its main blade combined with a chip breaker improves grain control, reduces tear-out, and ensures a clean, smooth cut on many wood species.

Available in several widths and sole configurations, it is suitable for both precision work and larger surfaces. Like traditional Japanese planes, it is delivered not ready for use and requires sharpening and sole adjustment before first use. This is a Kuradashi, from an old stock of a Japanese wholesaler, which may show slight marks due to age.
