The Mitsukawa Juntaro 5-piece Japanese saw set is a complete set of fine saws designed for precision woodworking , cabinetmaking, and traditional joinery.
Each saw is manufactured with a single-edged blade , benefiting from an exclusive heat treatment and a thinned back to provide a light, smooth, and extremely precise cut . The sharpening is performed according to a setting specific to each use, with an ultra-precise "asari" finish (or without a kerf for the dowel saw), allowing for a straight and clean cut, faithful to the design.
The paulownia (kiri) wood handles offer an excellent grip. Naturally absorbent, this wood prevents slippage due to perspiration and allows for prolonged work without fatigue.
This set also includes a dedicated traditional roll-up case for storing and protecting the saws.
