The Tenmei LL Japanese pruning shears are a professional model handcrafted in Japan, in the Yamagata region. Designed for arboriculture and pruning fruit trees, they are made of Yasuki steel , a high-end Japanese steel renowned for its hardness, durability, and fine cutting edge.

Its design is completely different from traditional pruning shears. The cutting blade and the counter-blade are not in constant contact: a slight gap is intentionally left. When the branch is cut, the blade gradually penetrates inwards and then overlaps the counter-blade for a clean and precise cut. The extremely thin profile of the blade, sharpened almost to a razor edge, allows for easy penetration and smooth removal from the wood.

The pruner is equipped with an integrated shock-absorbing spring that reduces impact during cutting, minimizing fatigue during long pruning sessions. The ergonomic handle fits naturally in the hand for optimal comfort.

The inverted screw system eliminates the need for an external nut, lightening the tool and reducing fatigue when working at height. The blade's angled geometry also allows for automatic rotation during cutting, reducing the effort required.

It is specially designed for cutting green wood and fruit trees. For plum trees or hard, dry branches, it is recommended to cut at the base.
