This Japanese precision saw for Kumiko is designed for extremely fine work requiring a clean, even, and splinter-free cut . It uses high-grade steel, 0.2 mm thick , treated with a hardening process to achieve a hardness of HS77 , guaranteeing excellent cutting performance.
The ultra-fine teeth, produced with a very high-precision sharpening technique , allow a cutting width of only about 0.3 mm , offering clean and perfectly controlled edges .
Originally developed for Kumiko work , this saw is also used for fine joinery , cabinetmaking , furniture making , musical instruments , and fishing rod making .
For optimal results, it is recommended to let the weight of the saw do the work , without forcing it, using the full length of the blade.
