The NANIWA Chosera #600 is a high-end Japanese sharpening stone renowned for its exceptional sharpening feel and high cutting ability. Designed to outperform classic synthetic stones, it offers an excellent balance between abrasion speed and precise edge control.
With its #600 grit, it is ideal for restoring a dull edge, correcting an edge, or preparing a blade before finer finishing sharpening. Its high-performance ceramic structure works particularly well on hard Japanese steels like Blue Paper Steel #2 as well as on stainless steel blades.
This stone is suitable for a wide variety of tools and blades: kitchen knives, Japanese planes, chisels, scissors, precision knives, and other cutting tools. Thanks to its advanced formulation, it resists clogging well and maintains excellent cutting ability during use.
Unlike traditional stones that require long soaking, simply moisten the surface with water before use. The stone comes with a #600 dressing stone and an integrated stand for stable and comfortable use.
