The MS series Japanese caliper is designed for craftsmen working with the traditional Japanese measuring system called “sun”. This system is still used in Japanese carpentry and joinery.

The model retains a maximum metric capacity of 150 mm, but the main graduation is expressed in traditional units. One sun corresponds to 30.3 mm.

The jaw tips are fully hardened to ensure excellent wear resistance and lasting accuracy. The graduations are finely engraved, providing a clear and crisp reading even after extended use.
