This Premium #10000 diamond sharpening stone is a limited edition model designed by Naniwa, one of Japan's most renowned sharpening manufacturers. Thanks to its extremely fine diamond surface, it delivers an exceptional mirror finish, ideal for blades requiring extreme precision.
The structure is called “yaketsuke,” meaning it is manufactured using a sintering process that fuses diamond powder into a solid matrix. Unlike bonded stones, this method prevents the diamond layer from detaching, guaranteeing a much longer lifespan and a consistent smoothness. It is ideal for final sharpening, ultra-fine polishing, edge flattening, and maintaining Japanese blades, very hard steels, or materials that are difficult to cut.
The stone does not require soaking: simply dampen the surface and it is immediately ready to use. It comes with a compact leveling stone to maintain a perfectly flat and effective surface over time.
