Its long, slender body generates an extremely lively lateral glide during jerking, while maintaining a very short travel distance . This characteristic allows the lure to remain in the target area for extended periods and trigger reflex strikes, even when fish are wary or inactive. During a straight retrieve, its high-lift setting allows it to smoothly avoid obstacles, making the Vision Oneten a remarkably versatile shallow jerkbait.

The Wagin Hasu color, inspired by the silvery reflections and natural hues of the hasu (Japanese forage fish), offers a realistic and highly legible appearance. It excels in clear to slightly tinted waters, especially when predators are targeting slim, shiny prey.
