This Japanese marking gauge (“Sunnme Scriber Gauge”) is an indispensable tool for traditional woodworking, restoration and precision work.
The model uses the old Japanese unit "寸 / sun" (1寸(sun) = 3.03 cm) , still used in crafts for ultra-precise measurements.
Thanks to its original design by MATSUI , it allows you to measure and draw with one hand , without an additional ruler.
