The Japanese Onigiri-gata Hishika scraper is a finishing tool handcrafted in Japan by Hishika Industry and signed Bessho Jirō. Made from high-carbon steel, originating from the production of Japanese saws, it is designed for precision work in carpentry, cabinetmaking, and restoration. Its triangular shape offers three internal radii (R3, R6, and R9 mm) as well as a flat edge to reach corners, curves, and hard-to-access areas.
Its 0.8 mm hardened steel blade ensures a clean cut and excellent control for finishing chamfers, edges, and details. Each scraper is handcrafted and features the unique characteristics of a Japanese artisan tool.
