The Chiyotsuru Sadahide Kiridashi is a handmade Japanese artisanal knife crafted by Naoki Morita, third generation of the Chiyotsuru Sadahide forge. Its blade is forged from Japanese Yasuki Aogami #1 steel (Blue Steel #1), renowned for its exceptional sharpness, high hardness, and excellent edge retention.
Entirely made using traditional Japanese methods, each knife is charcoal-forged, shaped, and individually sharpened, making each piece a unique specimen. Its handle with an oval openwork end gives it a distinctive character, while its paulownia wood (kiri) box highlights its status as an exceptional tool. Ideal for woodworking, carving, precision craftsmanship, or collecting Japanese tools.
