The Higonokami Sadakoma Aogami Warikomi Tokudai is a Japanese folding knife made using traditional forging methods. Produced by Nagao Kanekoma Seisakusho , this model belongs to the line of genuine Higonokami knives, a trademark protected in Japan.

The blade is made using the warikomi technique, a Japanese forging method that involves inserting a core of Aogami steel (Blue Paper Steel) between two layers of soft iron. This structure provides an ideal balance between exceptional sharpness, impact resistance, and ease of sharpening.

Each knife is forged and assembled by hand , resulting in a blade with a unique pattern from the forging process.

The handle is made of solid brass , a traditional material of the Higonokami, prized for its strength and ability to develop a natural patina over time.

The Tokudai (特大) version is larger than standard models, offering a comfortable grip and better cutting capacity.

This folding knife is suitable for DIY and crafts, light cutting work, outdoor activities, or for collecting Japanese tools.

The knife is presented in a traditional paulownia wood (kiribako) box , used in Japan to store precious objects.
