Hand-forged by a blacksmith in Miki, this Yokote Kiridashi Shozo is a traditional Japanese knife designed for precise work with wood, bamboo and fine materials.
Available in 90mm (precision and maneuverability) or 120mm (versatility and stability) , this model features a forged black kurouchi finish, typical of Japanese handcrafted blades.
Its Aogami No. 2 (Blue Paper Steel) blade offers excellent edge retention, high hardness, and remarkable sharpening capabilities. Thanks to a double forging process (hot then cold), the blade combines a razor-sharp edge with mechanical strength .
The magnolia wood (Ho) handle provides a natural and comfortable grip, while the included wooden case allows for secure transport.
