This set of Japanese line-cutting scissors with Hagoita case is part of the Kibuna series, developed by Matsuoka Fishing .
This is a pocket-style case, without a lid , designed to allow immediate removal of the scissors , ideal for repeated handling while fishing.

The design is based on the shape of the traditional Japanese Hagoita racket , giving the case a flat, elongated silhouette exclusive to the Kibuna range. This shape ensures a natural grip and excellent accessibility.

The case is made of Enju wood (Japanese sophora) , a wood historically valued in Japan for its stability , strength and smooth, even grain .
The wood is carefully selected and worked to reveal the full subtlety of its natural grain. Each piece is unique.

The set comes with 90mm Belmont Japanese wire cutters , made in Echigo Sanjō , an iconic region of Japanese metallurgy.
