The Into carving chisel is a Japanese tool designed to offer an excellent balance between precision and control. Its shape allows for efficient work on large surfaces while retaining the ability to make fine, controlled incisions.
Available in right-handed and left-handed versions, it adapts naturally to the user. The left-handed version is also particularly interesting for right-handers: used with the bevel oriented differently, it allows you to work the surface of the wood without the blade digging in excessively. This offers better control and a more progressive cut.
Made from Aogami #2 (Blue Steel), this chisel offers a durable edge and excellent edge retention, even on hardwoods. The handle, made from hinoki, a Japanese cypress known for its lightness and stability, ensures a comfortable and precise grip.
This tool is suitable for experienced craftspeople as well as demanding users looking for a reliable tool for detailed and finishing work.
