The Chiyotsuru Sadahide Shunkei Japanese plane is a high-end, handcrafted model designed for the most demanding finishing work. Made by Naoki Morita, third generation of the Chiyotsuru Sadahide lineage, it is equipped with an Aogami (Blue Steel) blade offering exceptional sharpness to achieve a perfectly smooth surface.

Its Japanese white oak body ensures stability and precision, while its Shunkei finish and paulownia wood box highlight its exceptional character. Like traditional Japanese planes, it is not ready for use upon delivery and requires blade sharpening and sole adjustment before use.
