The Delta-R Hishika Japanese scraper is a finishing tool handcrafted in Japan by Hishika Industry and signed by Bessho Jirō. Made from high-carbon steel, a byproduct of Japanese saw manufacturing, it is designed for shaping and finishing curved surfaces in carpentry, cabinet making, and wood turning. Its triangular shape offers three working radii of R15, R20, and R30 mm to accommodate different curvatures.
Its 0.8 mm hardened steel blade ensures a clean cut and excellent control when smoothing cylindrical shapes, arcs, and curved joints. Each scraper is handcrafted and bears the unique characteristics of a Japanese artisan tool.
