The Yubidō Nijō-Kama Kehiki Japanese marking gauge is a precision marking tool designed for traditional carpentry and cabinet making. Equipped with two sickle-shaped blades (Nijō-Kama), it allows for simultaneously drawing two perfectly parallel lines, ideal for mortises, tenons, grooves, and dovetails. Its solid wood body, available in Japanese white oak (Shirogashi), Japanese red oak (Akagashi), or ebony (Kokutan), offers stability and comfort in use.
The 150 mm blades produce a clean and consistent line, without tearing wood fibers. Designed for right-handed users, this marking gauge is perfectly suited for joinery work, transferring measurements, and all operations requiring highly precise marking.
