This set of 5 Nezumi Oire Nomi Japanese chisels is handcrafted in Banshu Miki, a renowned center for Japanese blacksmithing. Designed for carpentry, cabinet-making, and traditional joinery, they are forged from Yasuki Shirogami #2 (White Paper Steel), known for its exceptional sharpness, cutting precision, and ease of sharpening.

The handles made from Japanese Red Oak (Aka Gashi) offer excellent shock resistance and long-lasting user comfort. Presented in a paulownia wooden box, this set is not ready for immediate use and requires sharpening and adjustment before first use, in accordance with Japanese tool tradition.
