The Honmammon Nakauchi 36 mm Japanese chisel is hand-forged in the Banshu region of Japan, for joinery, cabinet making and precision finishing work. Its blade made of Shirogami #2 (White Paper Steel) offers an exceptional edge, excellent cutting quality, and easy sharpening, ideal for surfacing, joinery, and grooves.

Its traditional construction combines a carbon steel core with a laminated soft iron body to ensure an excellent balance between precision and durability. Like all handmade Japanese chisels, it is delivered not ready for use and requires sharpening and adjustment before first use.
