The Sakazuki Jozaburo is a small, precision Japanese plane designed for delicate adjustments and demanding finishes. Its YSS (High-Speed Powder Steel) sintered high-speed steel blade offers excellent edge retention, high wear resistance, and remarkable performance on hardwoods. Its uradashi-free design simplifies maintenance by eliminating the need for traditional blade hammering.

Its Japanese red oak body ensures stability, precision, and comfortable use during meticulous work. Like traditional Japanese planes, it is delivered not ready for use and requires blade sharpening and sole adjustment before first use. Each piece is handcrafted in Japan.
