The Japanese Santoku knife Shigekatsu 165 mm, made in Japan, combines cutting precision and refined aesthetics. Its blade has a Ginsan (Gingami No. 3) stainless steel core, with a stated hardness of 62 HRC, surrounded by 33 layers of stainless steel and nickel. Its hammered Tsuchime finish and Damascus patterns with subtle bluish reflections give it a distinctive appearance.

Its octagonal handle in Japanese white oak, naturally dried then covered with a deep indigo blue Urushi lacquer, completes its elegance. At 138 g, this versatile Santoku is suitable for the daily cutting of vegetables, meats, and fish.
