The Bullflat is a soft plastic bluegill imitation lure developed by Deps , designed to directly target predators specializing in bluegill hunting . Its flat and compact silhouette faithfully reproduces the morphology of a real sunfish, while maintaining excellent casting ability and great versatility, whether in large bodies of water, rivers, ponds or snaggy areas.

Its flattened body generates controlled hydrodynamic resistance , resulting in a unique spiral fall action whether free-falling or rigged Texas-style. This downward action, difficult to imitate with conventional lures, triggers strikes from fish that have become wary of overly linear presentations. The accordion-like tail captures the slightest current and comes alive even at very slow speeds, while the lateral arms produce subtle micro-vibrations reminiscent of the nervous fluttering of an active bluegill.

Thanks to its Ultra Soft Material construction enriched with 20% salt (10% for the 2" version), the Bullflat offers an excellent balance of flexibility, strength, and hook retention , while also imparting flavor and aroma thanks to the addition of crustacean-derived components. An unsalted version (0% salt) is also available for free-floating rigs, offering increased buoyancy and ideal transparency in clear water.
