The Honmammon Nakauchi 24mm Japanese woodworking chisel is hand-forged in the Banshu region of Japan for joinery, cabinetmaking, and precision work. Its Shirogami #2 (White Paper Steel) blade offers exceptional sharpness, excellent cutting quality, and easy sharpening, ideal for grooves, traditional joints, and fine finishes.

Its traditional construction combines a carbon steel core with a laminated soft iron body to ensure an excellent balance between precision and durability. Like all handmade Japanese chisels, it is not ready for use and requires sharpening and adjustment before first use.
