The Nankin Kanna Hon-Nagakuni is a compact Japanese plane designed for precision work, delicate finishes, and shaping slightly curved surfaces. Equipped with an Aogami (Blue Steel) blade and a Japanese white oak body, it offers excellent cutting quality, high precision, and remarkable edge retention.

Available in several widths, it is suitable for meticulous adjustments as well as carving and fine woodworking. Like traditional Japanese planes, it is delivered not ready for use and requires blade sharpening and sole adjustment before first use. Each piece is handcrafted in Japan.
